BEAU KALA (5) is racing well this preparation, including a last start win as the favourite over 1600m at Fairview to bring up two wins from four runs this prep. Has a solid record here with two wins from six starts. Will prove tough to beat once again. CATCH YOUR BREATH (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish second of seven over 1300m at this track. Worth noting Richard Fourie takes over the reins today. Nicely placed to return to winning form. LADY WRITER (8) ran a nice race last time out over 1600m at Fairview when finishing a neck second of 13. Has her share of ability and having placed in all of her last four starts rates highly. AMAZING COLOURS (3) has finished in the placings in her past two starts, finishing third over 1600m at this track last time out. Has the pace to settle in the leading division and should be fighting out the finish.
