Abundant early pace from Cats Quarters and Empress Of Milan ahead of Bonding. The scratching of Open Pearly Gates just about gift wraps this race for BONDING (5). Started in the red when resuming over 1280m at Muswellbrook last time but found one better after having every chance. Has the gate speed to cross from a wide alley. Possesses plenty of upside and looks considerably better than these. CATS QUARTERS (6) disappointed at Kempsey recently after a strong return at this circuit two runs ago. Five-year-old mare who has had plenty of chances but can fill a hole in a race without a great deal of depth. POINT TO PROVE (2) drops back sharply in trip after a moderate performance at Kempsey last start. Each-way claims. REBEL ONE (3) is racing well but finding it hard to break through. Comes back in trip after an eye-catcher at Port Macquarie last start. In the mix. TEMPLE BELLS (13) turned in a better run at Kempsey last time and is one for the exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bonding will be very short and should win.
