Strong early pace with Sakaben Queen and Kafuji Taurus pushing forward, along with Frosted Rose from out wide. RIKO TAIZAN (9) turned in a fine effort to score by 2.5 lengths at today's track and distance when resuming from a layoff last start. No reason he cannot salute again. KAFUJI TAURUS (2) finished fourth when fresh from a spell last start over this distance at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths. Has a strong record this course, scoring at 13 of 21 starts. One of the major players. SAKABEN QUEEN (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in third over 1200m at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Looks well placed so expect another big run. KITANO RYAN (10) resumes in a similar race to his last run four months ago when third, beaten 1.75 lengths. Definite top-three chance.
