OCTOPUSSY (2) started favourite last time out over 1400m at this track but found a couple better, making it two minor placings from three starts this campaign. Has a lower draw this time so gets her chance to break through. NOT GRACE ONE (6) started at $7.10 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth at this track over 1400m. Nicely placed to bounce back. KIKUNO VERS (10) was well fancied when resuming last start over 1400m at this track when seventh. Kanta Inoue who has scored on him five times retains the mount. Fitter and expected to run well. LANCE OF VENUS (9) resumes in a similar race to her last run six-and-a-half months ago when second. Has found a suitable race and is worth including.
