Should be a good battle early on with Samba Flavor, Honu and Nansei Scorpion leading the charge. SAMBA FLAVOR (7) scored two back at this track but was below her best last time when sixth over 1600m at this track. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. HONU (8) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 3.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1600m at this track after being in contention on the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects. PERLES CELESTES (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 11 lengths when sixth over 1600m at this track two weeks ago. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. NANSEI SCORPION (10) returned from a spell two-and-a-half weeks ago when she was beaten 11 lengths into tenth over 1600m at this track. In the mix.
