GORDIAN KNOT (3) was below his best last time when 11th over 1400m at this track, beaten 15 lengths. Nicely placed to bounce back. EVGENES (7) is back after a break of six months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at his latest appearance over 1200m at this track. Has ability and must be included in calculations.
