Genuine tempo with the speedy Nation's Call leading the way. RIOT AND ROSE (2) has had his issues but his ability is not in question. He resumed from a decent spell with a solid effort for seventh at Sandown-Hillside nearly 3 weeks ago and would have benefitted greatly from that hit-out. He slides down a grade and can remain unbeaten on this track. On top. MATHEW (1) is a very handy gelding a this level and was less than a length from the winner when finishing runner-up at Caulfield nearly 7 weeks ago. He wouldn't mind some cut in the track and will be among the hardest to beat. NATION'S CALL (5) is resuming as a gelding after showing plenty of promise last prep as a 3-year-old. He might need the run but can't be ruled out of a top 3 finish. HE'LL RIP (10) will be peaking third up and can secure the run of the race early. He is up to winning this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Riot And Rose to win.
