FLYING MIKKI (8) showed a stack of potential earlier in his career and his resuming effort for a new trainer when third at Mornington 19 days ago was full of merit. He would have improved immensely since then and even though he rises in class, he does drop 7kg in weight. On top. REGAL VOW (5) made solid progress last prep and was runner-up at Caulfield in her final run before having a spell. She comes to hand quickly and with the advantage of a good draw, can have a say in the outcome of this race. A market watch is advised. DEEKAY (3) will be peaking third up and finally nails a decent draw this prep. He is down in class and should settle a touch closer to the pace this time. Stick with him on an each-way basis. MASTERFUL (4) never got a go at them last time out over a mile in a good field at Benalla 3 weeks ago and before that, he was a comfortable winner fresh up as favourite at Seymour over this trip.
