Genuine pace headed by Eiwa Cantlay who should kick up along the paint. RIPLEY (7) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when fourth over 1500m at this track. Well placed and can make amends. MAD RIBBON GIRL (8) got home by half a length last time out over 1500m at this track. Has a fair record at this track with a win and two placings. Soichi Kato sticks and she should be hard to stop. PURPLE BREEZE (3) finished out of the money when seventh in a 1500m contest at this track two weeks ago. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. BORDEAUX ADOUR (2) missed the frame last start over 1500m at this track, finishing seventh. Suitably placed and can turn things around.
