Ladbrokes Moe Cup 2050m Track: SOFT7 Rain (Max: 22) Rail: True Entire Circuit. (Pent: 5.01) |

---|---|---|---|---|
Keats and Independent Road to bowl along in front and control the race. The feature of the day is the Moe Cup and a small field will chase 130K over 2050m. We have KETTLE HILL (8) as the one to beat after he was spotted making up some late ground at Ballarat over a mile last time out 4 weeks ago. He can be moody at times but this race will have a genuine tempo and he will also relish stepping out to a middle distance. On top at some each-way value. MR WATERVILLE (5) has performed with credit in better fields than this but has been below his best this year. He comes to hand quickly and of note, he has the blinkers on for the first time in his career. He can find his feet early from the pole position and should not be ruled out of winning this. INDEPENDENT ROAD (2) will have no excuses with his fitness third up and is out now to a suitable distance. He handles any track condition and is ready to put his best hoof forward. KEATS (1) is likely to set a strong tempo up front and he will be at his peak fitness fourth up. This circuit will suit him. Hard to beat. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kettle Hill each-way.
