KING REGENT (1) won here two starts back, then scored again last time out over 1400m at this track when sent out as the odds-on favourite. Has a terrific record here with two wins and one placing from three starts. Looks well placed to record a hat-trick. INHERIT THE RAIN (4) finished fourth of 11 last start over 1400m at this track to the above selection, an improvement on his ninth at this track the run before. The engagement of Richard Fourie is noteworthy. Likely improver with strong each-way prospects. CHERRY ANO (2) turned in a modest performance when 10th of 11 last time out over 1800m at Fairview. That followed a nose win at Fairview at the previous outing when well fancied. Well placed and deserves another chance. GLOBAL ALLY (5) was well supported when finishing third of nine at Fairview last start. Rates well and in this line-up is worth a second look.
