Tricky one to map with a large contingent of first starters but over this trip there is certain to be plenty of early pressure. IMMEDIATE (9) is a filly by More Than Ready on debut for the Price & Kent Jnr team who has won a jumpout at Cranbourne leading in. This looks a winnable maiden and the stable have an outstanding strike rate with first starters here. BELNERA (4) resumes. She has pieces of form that would make her very hard to beat in this and she should get a soft trail from an inside gate. BEAUTIFUL JEWEL (7) was just fair on debut but it was in a stronger race and she's been given time. CASTELLAR (5) similarly should find this easier. SUGGESTED PLAY: Immediate to win.
