From the wide gate Scarlet Honey can cross and lead a race without a great deal of pace on paper. MEISHO TENYO (2) gave a bold display over this course and distance last start, racing on the speed and boxing on well to finish second. Nicely placed to play a major role. DIAMANTE BLU (6) is back after a break of four months. Looking to emulate his win at this track when returning from a spell last prep. Rates highly and should take some beating. JOHAYO (9) is a progressive galloper who is first-up since finishing 11th over 1700m at this track five-and-a-half months ago. Has never been out of the placings first up from two tries. Soichi Kato who has scored on her two times retains the mount. Certainly one to consider. SCARLET HONEY (11) was good in the first two runs of this preparation but latest couple have been below form. Expected to improve on those latest runs and give a good showing here.
