ALLURING SORREL (8) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1600m at this track, finishing second and beaten a nose after being in contention on the turn. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. NAMURA SCAR (4) was well in commission last start over 1500m at Nagoya when fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths. Well-placed to make amends. MIMIKOCHAN (2) was unwanted in betting last start but performed beyond expectations when beaten one length into second over 1400m at this track. Among the leading hopes. HEROIC ROY (1) met with solid support last time out but could only manage to finish fifth over 1400m at this track in a disappointing performance. Likely improver with strong prospects.
