Solid tempo from Sekitoba East, Amai and Miss Carrera battling for the lead in a high-pressure contest. ADMIRE MATSURI (1) built on a nice second when fresh from a spell two starts back at Tokyo with success as public elect over 1800m at Nakayama four weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths. Hironobu Tanabe scored on her last time and retains the ride. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within her grasp. HOHELIED (12) is racing well, scoring two back at Nakayama before finishing a head from the winner in second last time over 1800m in the G3 Nakayama Himba Stakes. Has a strong record at this distance with a win and three minor placings from four starts and is expected to feature. SHINRYOKUKA (11) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a spell on 01/02/2025, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths over 2000m in stakes class at Tokyo. Makes plenty of appeal. SEKITOBA EAST (9) lines up on the back of a 5.5 lengths 12th over 1800m at Nakayama. One of the contenders.
