Pace only fair with Macha rolling to the lead ahead of Van Gerwen and Bower Boy. Wide open race with many of these claiming last start wins. One of those was BOWER BOY (1) who was a nose winner this grade last time. Has the big claim offsetting the weight and has a super consistent overall record. Has won third-up and looks a top chance again. GINGER SWEET (9) hasn't won for a while but is right up to this. Has placed four of last six runs, and has placed 2/2 at the course and distance. Gets chance to break through. MACHA (12) was also a maiden winner latest, scoring by a space over a similar journey at Geelong. Drawn for a nice run and among the better hopes. COLOUR BLAST placed at Sandown last start. Now gets Blinkers on first time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bower Boy might prove value.
