Genuine tempo with Shkmeruli and Koei Bakushin kicking up from their low draws. SHKMERULI (3) was below par when 12 lengths from the winner in ninth over this course and distance last start. Has a much better draw this time. Drawn to enjoy a nice trail just off the pace. Best form puts him right in this. MISSION RAIL (12) settled well back and failed to make significant inroads in the straight last start when tenth, beaten 12 lengths, over this course and distance. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. GOOD FAITH (9) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when ninth and beaten 16 lengths over 1400m at this track. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. KOEI BAKUSHIN (2) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 20 lengths into tenth over 1400m at this track. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
