Fast tempo assured with El Rey Viene, Chill In The Air and Bad Medicine going toe-to-toe. OKAVANGO (1) was impressive when winning his last start over 1600m at Durbanville. He was a long way behind the leader turning for home that day and ran on strongly. He will love the rise to 1800m and if suited to the right-hand turn, he should be the one to beat. EL REY VIENE (5) set the pace over 2000m last time and stayed on well to finish third. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. He has won once and finished third twice from as many starts over this course and distance. He is having his peak run and should fight out the finish. BAD MEDICINE (10) broke through for his maiden win over 2000m at this track last time, scoring comfortably. Tricky draw to overcome but he is worth including. BLACKBERRY BREEZE (9) finished second last time over 2000m at this track when well supported. Well worth an each-way ticket.
