Fly By Venus is expected to cross from a wide alley and lead. TAISEI FIORE (10) returned last time with a solid third at this track over 1600m. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. EPIPHALAND (6) returns after ten weeks in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 2000m at Kokura. Hard to beat if back in good order as anticipated. FLY BY VENUS (13) was prominent at the turn and finished third last time over 1800m at this track, beaten 1.4 lengths. In the right race and is one of the big hopes. DANON JAGUAR (11) produced another moderate effort last start when 4.5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1800m at this track at the second run back from a spell. No surprise to see him in contention.
