Has a solid record here at the distance with two wins and four placings from nine tries. Sure to run well. PATRIOT RUN (3) has not won for a long while. Last raced on April 6 when beaten 7 lengths into fifth at this track over 1400m. Best figures measure up nicely. Can do a lot better. SIMPLY THE BEST (7) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. Well placed to feature in the finish.
