Genuine tempo anticipated with good speed engaged. CROIX DU NORD (10) is a talented galloper who scored in the G1 Hopeful Stakes at this track last time and is unbeaten after three runs. Has beaten many of these already. Looks the benchmark. SATONO SHINING (16) is a promising type who scored at his only run last prep ten weeks ago over 1800m in the G3 Kisaragi Sho (NHK Sho) at Kyoto. Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Will prove tough to beat. MUSEUM MILE (11) was well supported when resuming last start but missed the placings in fourth over 2000m at Group 2 level at this track. Was a winner at his only previous second-up run. Likely improver. ERI KING (2) is a promising galloper who got the prize at his only run last prep five months ago over 2000m in the G3 Kyoto Nisai Stakes. Has a formidable combination with Yuga Kawada who has been aboard for his last three wins. Deserves respect.
