Genuine tempo with Colourful Baron and So Awesome pressing for the lead. MEEPMEEP (2) is still looking for his maiden victory but he finds a very suitable race this time around. He was beaten 3.3L last start, but his recent trial was solid since that effort and now Purton hops in the saddle. A lot of these seem to be at about the same level, though he may still have the scope to go to a higher level. TRADITION (9) just missed at Happy Valley over this trip, beaten 1.3L after settling in midfield. Karis Teetan rides now, though the wide draw is a niggle. Likely to get back in the run, but will be coming home strongly. YEABOI (14) rattled home from the rear last start to be 2.3L off the winner at the finish. He's right down in the weights and he's expected to be flying home once again. SO AWESOME (12) can make his own luck up on the speed and may appreciate the rise to this trip. Can give a bold sight.
