Many of these step out for the first time so a genuine tempo is expected. BAKERSBEND (2) on top. Two runs to date have netted two minor placings, finding the line strongly from back in the field at Sandown Lakeside last time out. That's top form for this and with even luck he'll be too good for these. The danger is DARK SIMBA (6) who resumes. Form last time in reads very well for this, albeit he got over further. The debut run over this trip was just fair but he should've improved and can get away with it on class. BELLE FROM HELL (11) improved nicely last start at Murray Bridge and won't need to improve too much more to be figuring prominently. DARKBONEE (7) is a gelding by Palentino on debut for the Wilde yard who can run well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bakersbend to win.
