Expecting Game Cove to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course.
RIVER FROST (4) ran a much better race when finishing a narrowly beaten third here 2 weeks ago. He has not helped himself by making a slow start in each of his 3 starts since moving here from NSW, and he only needs to begin with them to be the one to beat. ANOTHER VAL (2) ran on late when finishing fourth in the same race as the top pick last time out. He is another who only has to make a better start, to be right in the finish again. MEGASUN (3) was an overdue maiden winner of her penultimate start and then was beaten by a wide draw in a tougher field here 2 weeks ago. She is better placed at this level and can bounce straight back into the money. TANGO STEPZ (1) will find this easier than her last couple of starts and is worth including in all combinations. SPLISH SPLASH (7) has yet to fire in 7 starts on this track, and maybe the engagement of top local hoop Ray Vigar for the first time and bring about a form reversal. Use any market moves as your best guide. SUGGESTED PLAY: River Frost to win.
