Safe Rappa has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. ZEBEDEE SPRINGS (1) did well during an Esperance campaign earlier in the year and then led for a long way here nearly 2 weeks ago before finishing third. She has 100m less to travel this time, and with the benefit of a 3kg claim, she could take them all of the way. BRONZE ROCKET (4) made a winning debut from the leading local stable of Peter Fernie when scoring by 3 lengths. She had plenty left in the locker that day and can take the next step immediately. SAFE RAPPA (5) has been mixing his form and was midfield at Esperance 4 weeks ago. He has won on this track in the past and is capable of a top 3 finish if his mind is on the job. JET PLANES (2) had a good trip but did not finish off his fresh-up run here nearly a fortnight ago. He will strip fitter and has the scope to win more than another race this year. Stick with him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Zebedee Springs to win.
