Strong tempo with Ivy Samurayo, Kazu Pireas and Yuyu Starry leading the charge. IVY SAMURAYO (13) couldn't have been more impressive first up last start when he scored by 9 lengths over 1600m at this track. Has a strong record at the trip and will be a tough nut to crack again. THURSTON TRUST (1) ran well below his best last time over 1600m here beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth at $4.90. Should be poised just off the lead and expecting a bold showing. KAZU PIREAS (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at this circuit, beaten 4.5 lengths into sixth. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. YOSHINO ROSE (5) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1600m at this venue. Well placed here and there is no reason why she cannot find winning ways.
