Genuine tempo with the speedy Brandjam leading the way. OLIVE BAGUETTE (4) might be worth keeping safe. He was dominant breaking his maiden last time out at Mornington, heavily backed and doing it easily. The time was solid without being over the top but he's open to further improvement. ROYAL INVADER (9) is racing consistently without winning, even when last seen at Pakenham. She's off a let up for this and her best form would see her in the finish. BRANDJAM (3) should be fitter off a nice return over 1000m and did tackle some handy races in his maiden campaign. Looks a strong hope. SOCIAL CONSCIENCE (1) is an each-way chance in a race where not many would surprise. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Olive Baguette.
