Expecting a strong tempo, predominantly from Master Incolor, Anchor Man and Blue Palace. ANCHOR MAN (3) followed up his maiden win two runs back when resuming from a spell with a good third of 10 over this course and distance. He drops in class and with luck in the running after jumping from his wide draw of 12 looks well placed to return to winning form. WINTER EMERALDS (4) was an easy winner when shedding his maiden tag over 1200m on the polytrack last start when resuming from a spell as the odds-on favourite. He raced close to the speed, quickened up well and drew clear of his rivals. He takes on stronger rivals but looks to have ability and with Richard Fourie once again in the saddle rates well as a leading chance. GLOBETONIC (2) ran a good race when fourth of eight over 1600m on the polytrack last time. He has won once and finished second once from four starts over this course and distance. He jumps from an inside draw and looks well placed to finish in the top-three. KING RAHUL (16) fought on well to finish a close-up third of 13 over 1300m last start. In the mix.
