Strong tempo from the outset as a number of them push forward, with Cosmic Cliffs, Just For U and Kola Nut leading the charge. WINTER GAMBLE (2) is having her third run this prep. Her last start is best forgotten as she was reported to be not striding out. Her two previous runs were fair. She has placed third-up previously and can shed her maiden tag in this line-up. TWILIGHT BAY (1) set the pace over 1900m last time out but found one too good on the day. She is back against her own sex and jumping from a good draw of four over a shorter trip should prove hard to roll. FANTASY GIRL (5) battled on okay to finish fourth of 12 over 1000m last start. She is having her peak run and steps up to 1600m for the first time. Richard Fourie takes over the reins and she can finish in the placings. JUST FOR U (4) resumes from a spell and is having her first run from the Juan Nel stable. She showed improvement when third of eight over this course and distance last start when sent out at long odds. If not in need of the run should give a good account of herself
