He stayed on well when second of 12 over this distance on the polytrack last time. Three of his four career victories have come over this course and distance. Has Richard Fourie in the saddle and if keeping on a straight line he can return to winning form. SILVONIAN (1) stayed on well to finish a neck second of 10 after receiving a check at the start last time. He has won once, finished second once and third once from four starts over this course and distance. Looks ideally placed to take this race out. SWEET AND TRUE (3) is better than his last start run would suggest as he was reported to be not striding out. He has won once and finished third once from as many starts over this course and distance. If finding the form of his penultimate run when scoring a victory over 1200m at this track should be figuring in the finish. SOUND OF THE SEA (2) easily won his last start over this distance on the polytrack and rates highly.
