The pace looks even at best given a lack of early speed. MANIK (11) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 2 lengths away in fourth last time out over 2000m at this track. Looks a strong winning chance. WIN GLADNESS (10) fought on for third last start over 1400m at Kawasaki when he gave away a big start on the bend, making it two minor placings in a row. Generally takes a sit but the draw makes it tricky. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. SUN LAGUNA NIGUEL (5) started at $9.80 last time and ran below expectations, finishing 11th and beaten 15 lengths at Kawasaki over 1400m. Must raise the bar but a big run is on the cards. SUN BOULDER (8) finished second at Kawasaki two runs back but was less effective last time over 2000m at this track, finishing 45 lengths back in 11th. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
