Pace only fair with Meiner Schlag rolling to the lead ahead of Lycka Krona and Combat Ange. COMBAT ANGE (7) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 1600m at Morioka Dirt, getting home by 1.5 lengths. Winning rider Rei Iwamoto retains the mount and the hat-trick beckons. MEINER SCHLAG (9) went fast early over 1400m at Morioka Dirt last time and dug deep to score by 6 lengths. Should be close to the speed despite the draw and expect another big run. BEST COLLECT PARIS (6) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Morioka Dirt over 1600m. Expected to run well again. GOLD CREST (10) was comfortably accounted for when fifth last time out over 1600m after a win at Morioka Dirt at the previous outing. Should be thereabouts.
