Ivy Blizzard has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. IVY BLIZZARD (12) did a great job to score by 7 lengths over this course and distance when first-up from a layoff last start. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. OWSLA FLAG (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when sixth in a 1200m contest at this track two weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SASAKIN TOMOJIRO (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 9 lengths into seventh. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SPANNEND PEARL (7) failed to figure again last time over 1200m at this track. Better than that and no shock to see a much improved run here.
