A strong gallop is likely with Youthful Spirits and Stellar Express taking up the running, closely attended by Bottomuptogether and Candlelight Dinner. This looks an open race. GLOWING PRAISES (8) just missed over this track and trip last start. This is tougher, but he drops a stack of weight including Wong's apprentice claim. May need some luck from the draw early on, but if the breaks come then he'll be right there at the finish. COLOURFUL KING (2) retains Zac Purton today after a 1.5L defeat over 1200m at Sha Tin. He comes back to this track and trip where he's been very successful preciously. Drops a couple of kilos and creates plenty of interest. BRAVE STAR (5) missed by 1L here last start over 1200m on the fresh side and comes here fresh again when back to 1000m. That is the query, but his recent form stacks up and if he can hold his form, he'll be right in the mix. CANDLELIGHT DINNER (10) draws much better today and drops plenty of weight. Loves this track and trip and will take beating.
