RIEZ SOUVENT (3) resumes here but the form he showed in Sydney metro contests in his first campaign was good enough to play a major role in a race of this nature. Revved up for this with two recent trials and must be respected out of the champion Waller yard. Can return a winner. BALMORAL CASTLE (9) strips fitter second-up from the spell and will find this assignment easier than what she's been facing down south. Right in this. ARISTOCRATIC GIRL (7) is unlucky to still be a maiden hitting the top-four at her past five outings and this is not an overly strong affair. Include in calculations. The well-related DISPARATE (2) (half to Listed winner and G1 placed On Display) gets some weight relief with the 2kg claim and may make his presence felt. URBAN LAD (5) is a recent dominant trial winner who can improve sharply without surprising. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Riez Souvent.
