Embrace Aberdeen, Causeway King and Giant Ballon all possess good speed. GIANT BALLON (4) made it back-to-back wins last start with a dominant victory over this course and distance. He steps up in grade today, but Purton remains in the saddle and he drops 5kg for the rise in grade. He's trialled nicely since that performance and he looks set to bring up the hat-trick. MEOWTH (12) is hard to knock on his recent form and should get all the favours from an inside barrier today. he drops 2kg from his latest effort where he closed strongly to be only 1.5L off the winner. Ticks plenty of boxes and can get back to winning ways. SPIRIT OF PEACE (11) won't be phased by the wide barrier as he tends to get back in his runs anyway. He drops 3kg after a 2.8L defeat most recently. His form prior stacks up in this field and he can be closing strongly. HAPPY INDEX (2) has enough speed to offset the wide alley for Bowman and he'll give a bold sight.
