SAKURA TOP MOON (10) finished third at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1400m at this track, finishing 8 lengths back in sixth. Nicely placed to make amends. SMART RAVE (2) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 30 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 1400m at this track, beaten 10 lengths. Likely contender with strong prospects. ALA MOANA (4) was last at the races when he finished fifth over 1700m at this track on December 17. Worth plenty of thought. T K ANGERS (3) turned in an eye-catching run over this journey last time, settling out the back before winding up late to finish 8 lengths away in fourth at this track. Has ability and a bold showing is expected.
