Expecting a genuine tempo with Lady Emilia setting the tone from an outside draw, joined by Kikkuli. KIKKULI (2) races forward and just missed this track/trip two back. Was expected to win over 1800m at Clare following, but dropped away after racing with his head up in the early and middle stages. Better suited back to the mile and he's won this course/distance. ENCIPHERING (1) had been racing over longer and was much better last time coming back to this trip at Murray Bridge. Needs some luck in the run, but he looks capable of getting into the finish. LOCA BELLA (6) peaks and was in the market last time at Balaklava over a mile, but she didn't manage the wide barrier. Better suited to this grade, and Holder is reunited. She's still well shy of her best and should be ready to fire. BELLE FROM HELL (5) resumed over 1400m in a CL1 at Murray Bridge and needed the outing. Draws awkwardly but has won over this trip, and on a quick back up, should be running into it. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kikkuli appeals most.
