A solid tempo is anticipated with Vogelwand and Namura Robin kicking up to hold out the next wave. MO MO BROWN (4) was well fancied last start and while out of the money he was only beaten 4.6 lengths. Good effort for second prior. Certainly deserves another chance. TAYASU AMERICAN (7) was a winner three back and ran a strong race last time out at this course and distance, finishing fourth and beaten 1.3 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Strong prospects. VOGELWAND (10) got the prize two runs ago at this track. Couldn't follow that up last time out but that was in stronger company. This doesn't look as hard so she may return to the winners' list. NIHONPIRO DOVER (9) was fourth in a 1400m contest at this track at his latest appearance. Has top-three prospects.
