Genuine performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a fifth over 1400m at this track. Expected to bring the good form from last campaign to this contest. BOOYAKA (9) finished 5.5 lengths from the winner in seventh last start over 1400m at Ohi, an improvement on his 11th at Ohi the run before. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. MEINER ALAUDA (8) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when sixth, beaten 7 lengths, at this track over 1400m. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. MELISSA SUNRISE (7) improved last time out, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in third over 1500m at Himeji. Likely improver with strong prospects.
