My Danny Boy can work over from a wide gate to lead. BASSETT HOUND (2) has had no luck in his racing career thus far but has shown good ability in defeat, jumping an odds on chance before the break. Drawn wide again, so he's likely to get back in the run but watch for him flying late in the race. CHATTAHOOCHIE (10) bolted in at the trials recently, winning a 1000m heat at Belmont by 5.8L. Ramoly was on board there and he remains in the saddle for her debut. Has options from the draw and she can make a statement on debut. BLATANT VIOLATION (5) is on debut for the Dan and Ben Pearce yard and will be fitter for one trial coming into this. The booking of Pike is a big push for his chances and he should get every chance from the draw. Can play a role. MY DANNY BOY (3) missed on debut at Pinjarra when sitting on the speed throughout. His latest trial was strong and he'll be hard to hold out if he gets some luck from the draw. HIMIZU (8) was strong fresh and can be in this for a long way. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bassett Hound can resume on a positive note.
