Cracking tempo with Written Gold and Mrs Maree leading the way. ME ME (5) far from disgraced in two starts in the Provincial Mid Champs at Hawkesbury and Kembla Grange. Three weeks between runs when she savaged the line for a slashing second over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Will appreciate Fitzgerald's claim again from the sticky gate. Hard to hold out. MY PROCLAMA (6) improving mare who gets the gun run today from the inside barrier. Used up early from the wide barrier when she gripped on to secure a close-up second over 1200m at Wyong. Will prove hard to run down here with the other speed draw out. BANG ON TIME (4) lightly raced Almanzor mare who returned from a let-up at start two with a convincing Maiden win over 1250m contest at Newcastle. Sits midfield and look for her late. MRS MAREE (3) heavily supported as fav with a commanding on-pace Maiden victory in fast time over 1200m at Wyong. Sticky map again in this tougher contest and expected to go close.
