Solid tempo anticipated with Saxon Jewel taking charge. QUEEN ARIA (2) flew home to just miss by 1L over the mile at Pinjarra last time out when the race favourite. Pike remains in the saddle today and she looks to get every chance from the barrier. Rates highly on her latest effort and although she rises in weight, she can go one better. SAXON JEWEL (10) has led them up her past couple and has been in front for a very long way, only missing by a head most recently at Pinjarra. Tougher here, but she'll carry less weight and that makes her a likable commodity with her racing pattern. Will be tough to rein in. HOWDY (1) comes through the same race as Queen Aria last time out where he closed strongly from the back of the field. He may end up there again from the wide draw, but there wasn't much between them in the market or at the finish. Has to be included. PRINCE EPAULETTE (3) missed as favourite last start but the fresh run says he's not out of this. HARD SOLO (6) was good in a similar race here two back and is not to be discounted. SUGGESTED PLAY: Queen Aria goes on top.
