Long Way Home should be able to comfortably find the front. MUGELLO (6) went forward last start over 2400m at this track and held on well for second, beaten 1.3 lengths. Placed 2/2 this course and distance last two starts. Well placed and deserves a win. SOUL AND JAZZ (8) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Kyoto Dirt, finishing fourth and only 1.1 lengths from the winner at the end of 1900m. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. OTACHI (5) did well to score at Fukushima Dirt two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when third over 2400m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. KASTROM PUPU (1) comes here off a break of ten weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1800m at Niigata Dirt. Sure to make his presence felt.
