Strong early tempo with Yoda's Choice and Good Good leading the way. FOREVER FOLKS (4) disappointed last time out on the turf course here but bolted in two back over 1800m on this surface. DBM hops on board now and he maps nicely from a good gate. Can bounce back to winning ways getting back onto his preferred surface. HAPPY UNIVERSE (7) draws a much better barrier this time around and can put himself much closer to the speed than his recent efforts. He's racing in top order lately and the chance to sit closer today is a big push for his chances. Right on the cusp and this presents as a winning chance. CALIFORNIA STAR (5) landed midfield and ran over the top to score impressively last time out. He's since trialled well and Purton remains in the saddle. The draw is a little tricky, but with some luck he's a big chance to go back-to-back. FIREFOOT (13) wasn't beaten far behind California Star last time out and can be in the finish once again.
