Strong tempo with Marine Dhun Dhun and Hakusan Pioneer leading the way over Lowell. GOLD BRAVO (4) returns from a break of three months. Genuine performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a second over 1400m at this track. Rates highly and a bold showing is expected. HAKUSAN BIRD (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at Kyoto, beaten 8 lengths into 14th. Yet to miss the frame in three starts over this course and distance. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. MARINE DHUN DHUN (6) is having his first run since December 28. Goes well when fresh with five wins and two placings from nine starts. Makes plenty of appeal. HAKUSAN PIONEER (8) was last at the races when he finished 11th over 1500m at this track on December 28. Yet to win first up but generally runs well with two minor placings from four tries. Has to be respected.
