Without a great deal of early pace evident Ford Tesoro may lead the way over Castle Top. FORD TESORO (2) was an emphatic winner last time over 1600m at this track with today's rider Shuji Akaoka engaged. Has a strong record here at this journey with two wins from four runs. A bold showing is expected. MAGIC SEVEN (7) was below his best last time, finishing seventh and beaten 8 lengths over 1600m at this track. Nicely placed to turn things around. CASTLE TOP (4) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when sixth, beaten 7 lengths, at this track over 1600m. Has a good record at this course and distance, including three wins. Nicely placed to bounce back. AMULETUM (8) was responsible for a better run last start, beaten 5.5 lengths into fourth over 1600m at this track. Nicely placed to find some form.
