A solid tempo is anticipated with Willis and O'riordan kicking up to hold out the next wave. O'RIORDAN (8) showed a lot of courage when fighting off all challengers to win at Riccarton 11 days ago. She is as tough as old boots, and though she is up in class, she does drop 3.5kg. Stick with her on top again. CHAMPAGNE LINDA (7) has not won for some time, but has been seldom far away, including her last start here when finishing fourth by just over a length. She has a superior gate, and is an each-way chance again. INFLAMED (1) has been close up in some tougher fields recently, and she has a good record on her home track. Stepping up from 1200m to 1500m will suit her, and she can figure in the top 4. WILLIS (2) went a huge run at long odds in the G3 White Robe Lodge Stakes over a mile last time out. He is much better placed under these conditions, and can take this out. THE HANGOVER (4) did not cop the heavy track at Riverton last week over 2000m, and dropping back to 1500m is the key for this gelding. Don't drop him just yet. SUGGESTED PLAY: O'Riordan can win again.
