Expecting Obsessive Nature to lead Adviser at just a moderate tempo. WATER LAD (3) settled well back from a wide draw first-up and wound up strongly beaten 2L over 1000m at Scone. Keeps the handy 2kg claim and looks suited. Rates the leading contender. MISS CAPRICORN (5) found one better here in stronger second-up and then didn't put in on a heavy track at Orange. Has been kept on the fresh side and winning rider Weir replaces the apprentice. Right in it at best. PRESS FORWARD (2) is better chance the form line suggests. He's been racing in better company and gets his chance drawn inside and with Stiff's handy 2kg claim. CANNY PROSPECT (4) was beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth in a 1000m contest at Tamworth at his latest appearance. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance. GREEN PINEAPPLE (7) resumes and wouldn't be out of it at best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Water Lad to win.
