Pace a scorcher, headed by Numzaan, Past And Present and Master Du Rouvray, closely followed by Tyrconnell and Next Of Kin. MISTER NIBBLES (7) is knocking on the door and was runner-up in open class latest so comes back a notch. Leading rider goes aboard and expected to go close. TYRCONNELL (8) fought on for third last start over 1500m at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Settles close to the speed. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. MASTER BOMBER (1) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 12 starts. Did a good job last start to finish third over 1600m at this track, beaten one length. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the key runners. MASTER DU ROUVRAY (9) was far from disgraced when second last start over 1950m at this track. That followed a win at Greyville the start prior. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
